We at CockpitCoach are pilots and instructors that believe simulator training should be a positive experience. When confidence or currency suffers, airline simulator checks and assessment can become a dread. This reduces its training value and in turn trainee performance suffers with further detrimental effects on pilot confidence.
We have extensive experience in flight training, Human Factors and Human Performance with backgrounds in training, safety investigation, personal development and tailored training, both in and outside aviation.

Rogier van Buuren
Rogier currently flies the B737 NG. He has over 10 years of experience in instruction for experienced and non experienced pilots. He also shares his knowledge and experience in other sectors such as healthcare, emergency response and the business sector. The focus of his training is on human factors and behavior in the Just Culture, as well as general piloting skills. He approaches pilots and non pilots alike with great enthusiasm.

Erik Timmermans
Erik is currently an A320 captain and TRI. With a background in human factors and incident investigation, he particularly enjoys applying the Just Culture to analyse why things go well or not so well, and aims to provide a positive learning environment. Any training session should end by finding out, together with the trainee, not just what needs to improve and what went well, but especially why this is so.
